About 100 gallons of diesel fuel flowed into a storm drain leading to nearby Pyramid Lake, a leak monitored by officials with the state Department of Fish and Game, Hahn said. The fire ignited brush alongside the freeway where about a half-acre burned. The northbound side of the freeway was closed for 12 hours while the truck was unloaded and removed.
