BIG LEAGUE: T.O.'S GUTIERREZ THROWS ONE-HITTER.

Max Gutierrez turned in a masterful performance on the mound Monday for Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964. Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown. , throwing a one-hitter with nine strikeouts against Delaware in a 10-0 pool play victory at the Big League World Series in Easley, S.C.

Delaware entered the game as one of the hotter teams in the tournament, having scored 35 runs in two previous games.
