BI Technologies Corrects and Replaces Previous Chip Arrays Announcement, BW0006, BI-TECHNOLOGIES.

FULLERTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1998--

BI Technologies Introduces Thick Film Resistor/Capacitor Chip Arrays

BI Technologies Corp. Monday introduced the Model RC 6 thick film resistor/capacitor network in a 2512-size chip array.

This new line will provide customers with an inexpensive filtering and AC termination solution for high clock-speed requirements demanded by the latest computing technologies.

Model RC 6's main applications include EMI/RFI filtering, AC termination and termination for "enhanced parallel port See EPP.

Other applications are commercial products including PC servers, pagers, automotive/medical electronics and video/SCSI controllers among others.

The Model RC 6 is 250 mils long by 120 mils wide, a 10-terminal leadless array with convex Convex

type termination. The Model RC 6 monolithic chip provides improved reliability and reduced lead inductance inductance, quantity that measures the electromagnetic induction of an electric circuit component; it is a property of the component itself rather than of the circuit as a whole. . Thick film design parameters permit minimal cross talk.

As compared with thin film RCs, the 2512-size facilitates soldering in close proximity to active components while minimizing interconnect trace inductance and printed circuit board (PCB PCB: see polychlorinated biphenyl.

Pricing starts at $0.18 each in quantities of 100,000 pieces. Sample lead-time is six weeks at receipt of order (ARO). Lead-time for production quantities is eight weeks ARO. For technical assistance, contact Shirley Ho 714/447-2515 or Deepak Kulkarni 714/447-2518.
