BHP Copper Elects Vice President, Safety and Health.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1996--BHP Copper has named Kyle B. Dotson for the new executive position of Vice President, Safety and Health.

Prior to joining BHP Copper, Dotson served as the Director, Occupational Health and Safety for Phelps Dodge Phelps Dodge Corporation is a former United States company founded in 1834 by Anson Greene Phelps and William E. Dodge. On March 19, 2007, it was acquired by Freeport-McMoRan and now operates under the name Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc.  Corporation in Phoenix.
