BGR Holding, LLC Announces Former FBI Agent Tom Locke Joins Firm as Managing Director.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- BGR Holding, LLC, Washington's premier government relations and strategic advisory firm, is pleased to announce that former FBI Agent Tom Locke will join the firm as Managing Director on January 16, 2008. This is the first personnel announcement since BGR Holding, formerly known as Barbour Griffith & Rogers, was re-branded in December 2007 to expand on the firm's wide range of strategic consulting services and capabilities.

As Managing Director, Tom Locke will assist BGR clients by providing expert advice and advocacy in dealings with the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, the Treasury Department, and other U.S. and international law enforcement and intelligence agencies. He is also uniquely qualified to help navigate the bureaucracies associated with law enforcement proceedings, investigations, civil actions, and other inquiries, and to perform corporate background checks, risk analysis, and due diligence on individuals and organizations.

Tom is a 32 year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His last posting was as the Acting Assistant Director of the Inspection Division of the FBI in Washington, DC. He is a highly experienced investigator and administrator who received countless commendations from the six FBI directors for whom he worked, as well as from numerous state, federal, and international organizations. He has been the on-the-scene commander in numerous terrorism, kidnapping, drug and other complex crisis management situations and investigations. He conducted the FBI's first extra-territorial terrorism investigation involving the 1983 bombing of the American Embassy in Beirut. As the events of September 11, 2001 unfolded, Locke was called upon to staff, direct, and oversee the FBI's worldwide investigation of the tragedy that happened on that day.
