BGF Industries Inc.

Roll goods manufacturer BGF Industries Inc., Greensboro, NC, has announced its second quarter results for 1999. Sales for the quarter decreased $1.5 million, or 3.3%, to $44.2 million compared to $45.7 million for the same quarter in 1998. Sales for the first six months of 1999 decreased $14.5 million, or 14%, to $89.3 million compared to 1998's amount of $103.8 million.
