BFGOODRICH OFFERS VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT PROGRAM TO SELECTED EMPLOYEES
 AKRON, Ohio, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The BFGoodrich Company (NYSE: GR) today announced that it is offering a voluntary retirement program to 68 eligible employees in Akron and Brecksville. This voluntary retirement program is part of a continuing effort throughout the company to streamline operations and reduce costs.
 Most of the eligible employees are part of the company's corporate headquarters staff and corporate research and development organizations. Seven employees work in administrative positions with the Specialty Polymers and Chemicals Division.
 Eligible employees have until Dec. 21 to decide whether or not to accept the voluntary retirement program.
 BFGoodrich currently employs 630 in Akron and 570 in Brecksville.
 The company supplies components and services to the aerospace industry, and produces specialty chemicals, vinyl resins and compounds.
