BFF dilemma of the month: I really wish my mom were as cool as my BFF's mom. How can I make my relationship with my own mother better?

 always embarrasses me in front of my friends. But when I am with my BFF's mom, I feel totally comfortable.

Laugh with your mom She goes to the gym.  when she embarrasses you. Your friends might appreciate her humor humor, according to ancient theory, any of four bodily fluids that determined man's health and temperament. Hippocrates postulated that an imbalance among the humors (blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile) resulted in pain and disease, and that good health was  it you laugh right along with her. But, remember, your mom is one in a million!

Tell your mom how you feel--I'm sure she's she's  

1. Contraction of she is: She's going away for the weekend.

2. Contraction of she has: She's been to the symphony twice this month.
 not trying to make your life harder. Sugg est some cool things to do together so you can better appreciate her. Your mom's No. 1 priority is to take care of you, not to be cool.

Plan a one-on-one day at the movies or mall with your mom. If you spend more time with her, you two will get closer. Then, maybe you won't feel so embarrassed by her.

Remember, your friend probably has her own problems with her mom. You need to tell your mom how you feel since she probably thinks she is cool. I doubt your mom is embarrassing you on purpose.

Find something you and your mom like doing together. Hanging out with your mom will make you understand her better so you won't be as embarrassed by her. But always be thankful thank·ful
