BF Enterprises Reports Record Earnings for 1997.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 1998--BF Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:BFEN) reported that for the fourth quarter and the year ended Dec. 31, 1997, net income was $735,000, or $.18 per share, and $3,079,000, or $.75 per share.

Revenues were $1,381,000 for the fourth quarter and $5,606,000 for the entire year.

For the same periods in 1996, net income was $462,000, or $.11 per share, and $2,137,000, or $.53 per share. Revenues in the fourth quarter and the year 1996 were $1,139,000 and $4,559,000.

The company reported that the substantial increase in net income in 1997 was due primarily to significant increases in revenues and profits from sales of property within the company's Meadow meadow

grassland, used for grazing and/or haying.
