BETTER IMAGES IN SIGHT NEWER TECHNIQUE FOR BREAST TESTS.

Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital will soon acquire a new, computer-aided detection (CAD) system for mammography mammography, diagnostic procedure that uses low-dose X rays to detect abnormalities in the breasts. Second Look, from CADx Medical Systems, is a sophisticated breast-cancer detection screening tool based on the same breakthrough imaging technology the U.S. military uses for automatic target recognition.
