BEST PRODUCTS' DECEMBER SALES INCREASE 4.5%; COMPANY COMMENTS ON FOURTH QUARTER EARNINGS.RICHMOND, VA., Jan. 5, 1995--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Best Products Co., Inc. (Nasdaq:BEST) today reported sales for fiscal December, the five weeks ended December 31, 1994, increased 4.5% to $374.6 million compared to $358.4 million for the five weeks ended January 1, 1994. Comparable store sales increased 2.0% for the same period. Comparable store year-to-date sales for 1994 increased 2.7% to $1,396.2 million compared to $1,360.1 million for the same period during 1993. Chief Executive Officer Stewart M.
