A team member who can play effectively in two different positions, especially forward and guard.
Casey Jacobsen Casey Gardner Jacobsen (born March 19 1981 in Glendora, California) is an American professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies.
He has an extensive European basketball career and most recently played for the Brose Baskets, where he won the German Basketball
and Artesia forward Jason Kapono Jason Alan Kapono (born February 2 1981 in Long Beach, California) is an American professional basketball player in the NBA, currently with the Toronto Raptors.[1] His previous team was the Miami Heat in 2006-07.  have met on the basketball floor often over the past few years, and those meetings usually ended with Kapono and his team walking away with a victory.

As a matter of fact, Kapono and the Pioneers have ousted Jacobsen and his Tartans from the CIF (1) (Common Intermediate Format) A standard video format used in videoconferencing. CIF formats are defined by their resolution, and standards both above and below the original resolution have been established. The original CIF is also known as Full CIF (FCIF).  Division I Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  Regionals the past two seasons.

But now that both players are preparing to move on, Jacobsen finally has beaten his rival and good friend. And he didn't even need one of his long-range jump shots to do it.

Jacobsen, a 6-foot-6 swingman, amassed 280 points from the 20 ballots sent out to college coaches and prep basketball scouts to outdistance out·dis·tance

Jacobsen, who missed most of the summer recruiting scene while leading the U.S. Junior National Team to the gold medal in the World Youth Games World Youth Games is an international competition among young athletes. Michael Dunleavy Jr. of Jesuit High in Portland, Ore., and Andrew Gooden of El Cerrito round out the top five in this year's class. Dunleavy, a 6-8 swingman with an all-around game that rivals Kapono's, is the son of Portland Trail Blazers The Portland Trail Blazers are a professional basketball team based in Portland, Oregon. Gooden, who wasn't on any of the top-100 lists of seniors heading into last summer, burst onto the national scene at the Adidas ABCD See CompTIA.  camp in Teaneck, N.J., where his combination of size (6-10) and perimeter skills wowed onlookers.

Louisville, Ky.-based talent scout Clark Francis of Hoop Scoop thinks the Class of 1999 in the West compares favorably with the 1998 group. He placed the aforementioned players, along with Las Vegas Clark point guard Kevin Gaines, who finished sixth in this year's voting, among the top 40 players in the country, although he was hesitant to anoint a·noint

Jacobsen the best of the bunch.

``I'm not sure he's better than (Kapono or Boozer), but what he did in the postseason All-Star games proved that he could play with anyone in the class,'' Francis said. ``Six months ago, I thought Casey had to go to the right program. But he could go anywhere and be a factor for any program.

The strength of this year's group lies in the frontcourt, where eight of the 15 first-teamers stand 6-8 or taller. Kapono and 6-8 Donnell Knight of Tempe, Ariz., Corona del Sol, a dynamic athlete, are the top small forwards. Boozer and Gooden join 6-9 Justin Davis (Alameda St. Joseph), 6-10 Brian Jackson (Knappa, Ore., Knappa) and 6-11 Curtis Borchardt (Redmond, Wash., Eastlake) as power players in the middle.

Tito Maddox, a 6-4 point guard from Compton, became the second Tarbabe in as many years to be named to the first team, joining former teammate David Hamilton (Auburn). Maddox, Gaines and Verbum Dei magician Marlon Parmer are all considered to be among the best floor leaders in the country.

There are also plenty of players who can handle the shooting guard or wing forward positions. Dunleavy, 6-4 Gilbert Arenas of Grant, 6-5 Brian Wethers (Murrieta Murrieta Valley) and 6-5 Joe Shipp (Fairfax) are all capable of scoring points in bunches.
