BEST GIG III Public Image Ltd @ Coal Exchange, Cardiff (Thursday) [bar] LOOK, I know what you're thinking, but he only did those butter ads to fund the return of the band that meant more to him than the Pistols ever did.

So, when you bear that in mind, it's hard to shout, "Sell out!" at the former Mr Rotten. Besides, it's far more gratifying to see him putting his heart and soul into performing such post-punk gems as Death Disco, Poptones and Rise than watch him trudge begrudgingly through another performance of Anarchy In The UK with one eye on his watch and the other on the filthy lucre.

Love him or loathe him (or maybe do a bit of both) John Lydon is a British music legend worthy of anyone's time.

So go see, if only to stop him having to promote anymore dairy comestibles. [bar] Enquiries: 029 2049 4917
