Dante Clay could take the lead in City Section rushing tonight. The senior has 1,845 yards and 20 touchdowns. North Hollywood will need his rushing and help from quarterback Cameron Heflin to have a chance.

VAN NUYS (7-4) vs. VERDUGO HILLS (7-4) at Kennedy

The Wolves are a dark horse to win the 3-A title, after taking five games to mesh as a team. Tailback Carlos Mack eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark last week and gives Van Nuys a legitimate offensive force. Van Nuys has relied on Mack and a tough defense.

Verdugo Hills struggled against Roosevelt and is the last representative from the Northern Conference in the City playoffs. Tailback Sean Standley could play after injuring his knee last week and his presence is important for the Dons. Quarterback Ethan Slimak has thrown for 1,197 yards and 13 touchdowns.
