BERNARD FLYNN'S WEEKEND VERDICT: IN THE FLYNN BIN.. This week Munster semi mix up.

Byline: BERNARD FLYNN Bernard Flynn is a retired inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer for County Meath in Ireland. He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the eighty's & early ninety's on the Meath team's managed by Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at Full Forward.

THE fixture's committee and Croke Park Croke Park (Irish: Páirc an Chrócaigh) in Dublin, Ireland is the largest sports stadium in Ireland and the principal stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland's biggest sporting organisation.  face a major dilemma in deciding where to play the All-Ireland semi-final between Cork and Kerry.

All-Ireland semi-finals are always in Croke Park, as will this one, but with two Munster teams meeting and two sets of supporters not renowned for travelling to Croke Park, except on final day, it poses a serious problem, whether Croke Park will even get the break-even figures of 33,000 people.

You've got to remember, Cork hurlers This is an incomplete list of current and former Cork hurlers.

Name Born Died Club All-Ireland SHC titles Munster SHC titles
Mick 'Gah' Ahern 1905 1946 Blackrock 1926, 1928, 1929, 1931 1926, 1928, 1929, 1931
have been up in Croke Park so people have had that expense and Kerry people have travelled to the League semi-final and final.

If this match was anywhere else in Munster, it would be packed to the rafters.

A tough call, and a hard one it may be, once again, on the pockets of the Kerry and Cork supporters.

But for this one match Croke Park should break with tradition.
