BERNARD FLYNN'S ALL THE WEEKEND VERDICTS: IN THE FLYNN BIN.. This week THE CDC'S INCONSISTENCY.

Byline: BERNARD FLYNN Bernard Flynn is a retired inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer for County Meath in Ireland. He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the eighty's & early ninety's on the Meath team's managed by Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at Full Forward.

THERE may be moves on to question or minimise the influence of the new CDC See Control Data, century date change and Back Orifice.

CDC - Control Data Corporation
 (Central Disciplinary Committee).

Referee's and former referee's may think they are undermining the ''referee himself'' or the ''referee's report''. I don't agree; it is great to see, in this day and age, players exonerated when they are accused of doing something they did not actually do.

This year, more than most, referee's decisions have turned quite a few big games. Its just unfortunate there were so many such decisions in the Ulster Final.

The only problem I see is not the CDC itself or its actions, it's inconsistency. It's true if the committee acted the same way from the first round of the Championship as they have for the last four weeks, there would be at least 3-4 high profile players serving time.

This is the crux Crux (krks) [Lat.,=cross], small but brilliant southern constellation whose four most prominent members form a Latin cross, the famous Southern Cross.  of the problem, a major public outcry should not determine when the CDC reacts. It must be consistent in its actions from the very first day of the Championship to the last day.
