It is published annually and an annual subscription costs S300. The journal is targeted to practitioners, legal scholars, ethicists, policy researchers and government officials. BEP said that each issue focuses on one contemporary human rights dilemma that raises major legal and moral questions for ethicists, legal scholars, and policy makers. Each dilemma is examined to create associations between legal provisions and the philosophical thinking underlying them. Topics covered include multicultural ism and anti-discrimination, the use of demographic considerations to shape public policy, and international labor rights and regulations. The 2008 issue address the topic of Demography and Human Rights and examines the legal as well as moral concerns that arise when demographic considerations are used to shape public policy. It discusses the morality of demographic considerations in public policy and its implications for human rights. The 2009 issue will address the topic of Labor Rights in the Era of Globalization globalization Process by which the experience of everyday life, marked by the diffusion of commodities and ideas, is becoming standardized around the world. Factors that have contributed to globalization include increasingly sophisticated communications and transportation . The issue will examine such themes as changing philosophical foundations, the conceptual framework of international labor rights, their relations to international human rights and transnational labor regulation. It will also cover specific policy changes, including the right of freedom of association, minimum wage, human trafficking and labor migration. BEP publishes nine other journals in the legal field, including "Global Jurist A judge or legal scholar; an individual who is versed or skilled in law.
