 Ben Hutchinson Ben Hutchinson (born 27 November 1987), is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Middlesbrough. He qualifies to play for Jamaica through his grandparents.  has begged Gordon Strachan for the chance to carry his sizzling reserve form into the first team.

The 21-year-old striker has struggled to break through since joining from Middlesbrough a year ago, making just three appearances this season.

But he's hoping that by continuing to impress for the second string he will soon get his chance - like pal Koki Mizuno.

Hutchinson said: "I've been pleased with my form this season.

"I'm top scorer in the reserve league and feel I'm ready to take my first-team chance.

"Mymate Koki has now started a couple of games and I was delighted with how well he played.

"We've developed a good understanding in the reserves so it would be brilliant to both be involved with the first team."
