BELMONT HOMES, INC. ANNOUNCES OFFERING OF 1.9 MILLION SHARES OF COMMON STOCK.

BELMONT, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 1995--Belmont Homes, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM: BHIX) today announced the commencement of an initial public offering of 1,900,000 shares of common stock at a price of $9.00 per share. Belmont Homes is offering 1,700,000 of the shares, and the balance is being offered by certain selling stockholders. Managing underwriters for the offering are Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. and Equitable Securities Corporation.

The Company and certain selling stockholders have granted the underwriters an option for a period of up to 30 days to purchase up to 285,000 additional shares to cover any over-allotments.

The net proceeds from the offering of shares by Belmont Homes will be used to retire indebtedness.
