Bell Atlantic Mobile has combined Inet's Spider Cellular Digital Packet Data modem with Bell Atlantic Mobile's extensive AirBridge wireless data service.

Mobile users can now purchase Inet's Spider CDPD modem at the special price of $499, when they sign up for Bell Atlantic Mobile's AirBridge wireless data service at the flat rate of $39.95 per month for unlimited wireless Internet access and email usage.

The combination of the modem and service pricing equips mobile users with a fast and inexpensive route to data, in fact, the lowest cost PC card modem Bell Atlantic Mobile currently offers, while they're on the go. Mobile users simply slide Inet's Spider CDPD modem into the Type III PC card slot of any laptop computer to access corporate intranets, the Internet, and e-mail--wirelessly--via Bell Atlantic Mobile's wireless data service.

For just $39.95 a month, Bell Atlantic Mobile's AirBridge Internet access customers receive their own Internet e-mail address and have unlimited access to corporate intranets and the Internet while traveling through the company's wireless data service area. Users who need coverage outside Bell Atlantic Mobile's territory can leverage the company's agreements with other major carriers for expanded area service at a nominal fee.

Inet's Spider CDPD modem offers a simple, single-card design for a wireless connection to Bell Atlantic Mobile's wireless data services. With Inet's Spider, users have access to critical data, files and applications without bulky equipment or tangled cables. The modem fits completely into the Type III PC card slot of any laptop computer and does not require an external power supply.
