Grog y Vog is a golden-coloured pale ale brewed from barley, maize and wheat. The aroma is of the sharp, bitter smell of the Styrian Golding hops used to make this beer. There is an initial bitter taste, which increases in the mouth and on the tongue, followed by a good bitter aftertaste aftertaste /af·ter·taste/ (-tast?) a taste continuing after the substance producing it has been removed. af·ter·taste n. . A very moreish finish leaves the hoppy flavour of this ale lingering on the tongue.
