 across the Golden State Freeway The Golden State Freeway is a north-south freeway running through Kern County and Los Angeles County, California. Gonzalez weaved in and out of traffic, but lost control of the truck, which overturned and hit the one carrying beer, driven by Jorge Sosa, 45, of Van Nuys, Ehly said. Gonzalez was driving 75 to 80 mph.

Both vehicles lost their loads, spilling beer and drywall across all lanes of the Golden State Freeway, Ehly said. The freeway was closed for seven hours.

No one was seriously injured and the crash is under investigation.
