BEAVER DAM TRIM OPERATION TO END PRODUCTION IN MAY

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) today notified the employees at its Beaver Dam (Wis.) plant that assembly of trim components for the Chrysler luxury models built at the Belvidere (Ill.) Assembly Plant will end on May 21, 1993. This summer Belvidere will be converted to accommodate production of Chrysler's all-new Neon subcompact models.
 Approximately 140 trim operations workers will go on indefinite layoff when production of trim components ends.
