BEAUTY FOR ALL TO SEE; ART EXHIBIT OPENS THIS WEEKEND AT LANCASTER GALLERY.

Eighteen High Desert Art Association members will display their works at a show that opens with a reception from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lancaster Museum/Art Gallery, 44801 Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling .

Members of the High Desert Art Association, one of the newest art groups in the valley, is composed of amateur and professional artists.

Artists whose work will be shown include Agnes Alarcon, Ellen Anderson, Frances Carter, Louana Collins, Thomas Cutrone, Frieda Gelber, Jo Gayle Gerner, Kay Hendrickson, Cheryl Holt holt

At 2 p.m. Saturday, museum curator CURATOR, persons, contracts. One who has been legally appointed to take care of the interests of one who, on account of his youth, or defect of his understanding, or for some other cause, is unable to attend to them himself.

 Norma Gurba will lead a discussion on the ``hows'' of selling artwork, including how to make a proper art portfolio and presentation to art galleries.

The High Desert exhibit runs through Aug. 1. Admission is free.

The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The gallery will also open its doors from 6 to 9 p.m. June 25. Admission then is $2, which includes refreshments re·fresh·ment
