SFA president George Peat says their disciplinary process is all about fairness and consistency.

So let's look at two examples.

Serial offender Artur Boruc stupidly flips the bird at Rangers fans.

So the SFA fine him a measly 500 quid and severely censure him, the equivalent of getting a rap over the knuckles with a bag of flumps.

Yet they refused to overturn a ban for Charlie Mulgrew - even after the referee admitted his red card was wrong. He misses a game and it costs him a win bonus that was MORE than Boruc had to pay out.

Hardly fair and consistent.
