Junius Spencer Morgan, 1813–90, b. West Springfield, Mass., prospered at investment banking. Partners L.L.C. (No. 5 on the BE PRIVATE EQUITY list with $170 million in assets), recently acquired four North Carolina North Carolina, state in the SE United States. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean (E), South Carolina and Georgia (S), Tennessee (W), and Virginia (N). Facts and Figures Area, 52,586 sq mi (136,198 sq km). Pop. radio stations from Eastern Carolina Broadcasting Co. Inc. for $6.5 million in cash. In addition, Archway acquired the assets of two radio stations from Equity Broadcasting Corp. for $8 million in cash.
