BE Aerospace announces offerability by Boeing of BEA's MDDS Interactive Entertainment System.WELLINGTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 1996--BE Aerospace Inc. announced today that Boeing is now offering the BEA BEA - Basic programming Environment for interactive-graphical Applications, from Siemens-Nixdorf. MDDS MdDS Mal de Debarquement Syndrome MDDS Medical Device Data System MDDS Multi-Domain Dissemination System (PACOM) MDDS Mission Data Distribution System MDDS Multimedia Digital Distribution System MDDS Maintenance Data Development System Interactive Entertainment System as a line-fit option for both its Boeing 777 and Boeing 747 aircraft. Customers of Boeing now have the ability to order aircraft which will be delivered with MDDS installed by Boeing. The offerability includes the system's signature feature "True Audio and Video on Demand" (AVoD), the only true AVoD system actually in service at this time.
