About Eric Faurisson

A graduate of the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris, one of France's top business schools, Faurisson started his career with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  as an account executive. After four years with IBM, Faurisson joined Oracle France where he gained valuable international experiences as a sales manager in charge of oil, gas, and chemical vertical markets. From Oracle, Faurisson moved to the newly opened Business Objects European branch, where he quickly created an effective sales team though the use of an efficient indirect distribution model.

Faurisson opened Business Objects' subsidiary in The Netherlands and rapidly followed suit in other European countries. In 1996, based on his strong sales and administrative track record, Faurisson was appointed senior vice president in charge of half of the company's European operations and became a member of Business Objects' Management Committee. In 1998, he assumed responsibility for the whole of Europe.

About Gilles Hocepied

Hocepied has more than 23 years of IT experience, with eight years focused on hardware and 15 years in the software arena.

In 1990, he joined Oracle Belgium as sales executive in charge of European Institutions. In this role, he built Oracle's marketing channel, ultimately becoming manager of public sector sales. In 1996, Hocepied was hired by Faurisson to launch Business Objects' Benelux operations. Under his guidance, the branch grew to 50 people and $20 million in annual revenue. In 2001, Hocepied became the manager of sales in 12 European countries, a territory comprising more than 10 languages, 90 million inhabitants
