Notes: In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners. of TRW (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :TRW), as the Team Leader to streamline processes and practices for Team CX that consists of the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations. NAVSEA consists of four shipyards, eight "warfare centers" (two undersea and six surface), four major shipbuilding locations and the NAVSEA headquarters, (NAVSEA NAVSEA Naval Sea Systems Command NAVSEA Naval Avionics Support Equipment Appraisal ) Surface Ship Directorate (SEA 91), Program Executive Office for Expeditionary Warfare (PEO EXW), and Program Executive Office for Carriers. By streamlining processes and practices, Navy program managers will be able to achieve significant cost savings in managing the delivery and maintenance of ships and weapons systems for the fleet. NAVSEA awarded the three-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA BPA British Paediatric Association. ) that has a ceiling value of $300 million. BDM and its partners will help Team CX increase its overall productivity by: (1) reducing the number of SEA 91 personnel required to manage support contracts; (2) achieving the most competitive contractor rates from economies of scale; (3) reducing redundant tasking and activity by overseeing all efforts on the contract; (4) consolidating and standardizing processes and practices; (5) identifying and continuously implementing best practices from industry and government; and (6) meeting or exceeding NAVSEA's small and small disadvantaged business goals. The work will be performed primarily at a TRW office located in Arlington, Va. Team partners include ANADAC, Inc., Arlington, Va., an Identix company (AMSE AMSE American Museum of Science & Energy (Tennessee) AMSE Aircraft Maintenance Support Equipment (Canadian Forces) AMSE Advanced Mass Sender Enterprise :IDX) that provides systems integration and engineering services to the public and private sectors; ARIST Corp., Alexandria, Va., a professional services and information technology company; and Litton-PRC, McLean, Va., a worldwide provider of IT solutions. This BPA is for General Services Administration The General Services Administration (GSA) was established by section 101 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (40 U.S.C.A. § 751). The GSA sets policy for and manages government property and records. Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS MOBIS Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services MOBIS Mission Oriented Business Integration Services (US government contract) MOBIS Management Oriented Budget Information System ) schedule and Information Technology Professional Support Services (IT) for the Department of the Navy. The MOBIS is held by BDM International, Inc., which was acquired by TRW in December 1997.
