BDM SMART Evaluator Added to TRW's Year 2000 Solution Set.

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1998--TRW (NYSE:TRW) announced today that it has expanded its Year 2000 solution set with the introduction of BDM SMART Evaluator(SM). This latest service offering, which joins four other Year 2000 solutions developed by BDM International Inc., represents another addition to the diverse capabilities that came to TRW through the acquisition of BDM in December 1997.

SMART Evaluator is designed to help corporations accelerate their Year 2000 readiness by thoroughly reviewing an enterprise's program and identifying the most efficient approach to bring affected systems to Year 2000 compliance.
