BCS, AP POLLS AGREE: USC IS RANKED NO. 1 TEXAS IS NO. 2; UCLA'S NO. 8 IN AP, NINTH IN BCS.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Steven Wolf and Susan Enowitch, Wolf was raised in West Orange, New Jersey. He graduated in 1986 from West Orange High School.

USC An abbreviation for U.S. Code.  sat atop the first Bowl Championship Series ratings as a solid No. 1, confirming the Trojans control their own destiny in an attempt to win a third national championship.

The Trojans (6-0) are first in both top 25 polls used by the BCS (1) (The British Computer Society, Swindon, Wiltshire, England, www.bcs.org) The chartered body for information technology professionals in the U.K., founded in 1957.  and first in four of the six computer rankings. Texas and Georgia and first in the other two computer polls and the Longhorns are No. 2 overall.
