BCOA/UMWA TALKS RESUME

 WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Director Bernard E. DeLury announced today that representatives of the Bituminous Coal Operators Association and the United Mine Workers of America have resumed talks in his offices in Washington, D.C.
 DeLury expressed his hope that the talks can conclude in an agreement that will end the selective strikes which began May 10, 1993.
