BCE Emergis Inc. (TSE:IFM), a leading provider of B2B e-commerce services and exchanges, and Selectica (Nasdaq:SLTC), provider of Internet Selling Systems (ISS) for e-Businesses, today announced a five-year, multi-million dollar agreement with Bell Canada -- Canada's internet leader -- to provide its Bell Gateways division with a fully integrated business-to-business (B2B) e-Commerce solution. The solution will enable Bell Canada's sales force, distributors and customers to configure Bell Gateways complex voice, internetworking, convergence and cabling products, and services online.

The ISS is an enterprise-wide application that simplifies and accelerates the sale of complex products and services across all sales channels. Acting as a virtual salesperson, the ISS interactively guides buyers through selection, configuration, quoting, pricing of complex products or services that precisely meet their needs.

The new end-to-end e-Commerce solution is expected to enhance sales productivity and significantly improve customer service. Bell Gateways' sales team will benefit from a single network-centric Internet-based selling solution and therefore, will be able to configure complex networking products and services on an internal web site, and receive accurate design and pricing proposals online. Eventually, customers stand to benefit from customized, timely and accurate data, as well as the ability to track their orders, once placed.

Bell Gateways' goal is to process all sales online using the powerful B2B selling solution from BCE Emergis and Selectica.
