 Holdings Inc., announced today that a $386,600 issue of units has been placed, privately, with a Canadian institutional investor Institutional Investor

A non-bank person or organization that trades securities in large enough share quantities or dollar amounts that they qualify for preferential treatment and lower commissions.
 purchasing $286,600 of the issue and management of BCB acquiring $100,000.

He further advised that, "This placement is expected to be part of a maximum issue of $1.5 million, the balance of which also will be placed with Canadian institutional investors."

Mr. Murton stated, "Each unit is priced at $0.20 and comprises one common share of BCB Holdings plus one two-year warrant to purchase one additional share at $0.40. Proceeds of this financing will be applied mainly to accelerate the sales and marketing program of The BCB Technology Group Inc., the wholly- owned operating subsidiary of BCB Holdings."

The BCB Technology Group develops, manufactures and distributes products and systems, based on its proprietary technology, that digitally record voice for storage in the customer's computer or computer network, making it immediately available for playback and transcription. The two principal markets for BCB's products and systems are digital dictation and voice logging.

These computer-based products and systems include the PC-DART digital dictation family of products being sold to the legal, medical and general business dictation markets in the USA, Canada and the UK through a large and rapidly growing dealer network, the digital MURF MURF Materiel Utilization Reference File  (multiple unit recording facility) as recently installed in the Canadian House of Commons The House of Commons (French: Chambre des communes) is a component of the Parliament of Canada, along with the Sovereign (represented by the Governor General) and the Senate.  and COURTROOM-DART, a derivative of MURF, now being installed in a U.S. Judicial Circuit courthouse.

All these products are highly competitive in the large markets they address.

LOG-IT is about to be launched for broad business and government applications requiring digital recording and playback of telephone conversations. Strong demand also is seen for this product.
