To tease, or comb, as wool. :BCS (1) (The British Computer Society, Swindon, Wiltshire, England, www.bcs.org) The chartered body for information technology professionals in the U.K., founded in 1957. ) BC Sugar today announced net earnings of $.25 per share for the fourth fiscal quarter and $.30 for the year ended Sept. 30, 1995.

In 1994, earnings before non-recurring items were $.10 per share in the fourth quarter and $.38 for the full fiscal year.

Net earnings totalled $7.5 million for the year ended Sept. 30, 1995, compared to $26.5 million in 1994. Net earnings for 1994 included a $17 million gain from non-recurring items, while there were no non-recurring items in 1995.

The improvement in BC Sugar's fourth-quarter results is largely attributable attributable
