BC Partners acquires business info publisher.


Private equity firm BC Partners (London/New York) has entered into an agreement to acquire Bureau van Dijk van Dijk can refer to:
  • Arjan van Dijk (born 1987 in Utrecht(, dutch football player
  • Bill van Dijk (born 1947 in Rotterdam), dutch singer
  • Bryan van Dijk (born 1981), dutch judoka
  • Dick van Dijk (born 1946 in Gouda), dutch football player
 Electronic Publishing An umbrella term for non-paper publishing, which includes publishing online or on media such as CDs and DVDs.  (BvD EP; Amsterdam), an electronic publisher of business information, from investment firm Candover (London). No terms were given. The deal is expected to close in October.

BvD EP is one of the world's largest specialist providers of electronic business and financial information, including ownership and directorship information, company activities and ongoing news and developments, to 5000 financial and consulting organizations, corporations, governments and research institute clients.

Products include AMADEUS, a pan-European database, ORBIS, covering 33 million companies worldwide, ZEPHYR Zephyr or Zephyrus: see Eos. , a M&A database, and country-specific databases. In June, the company launched QIN Qin also Ch'in
