Although the word is still often used to refer to the songlike quality in poetry, it is more generally used to refer to any short poem that expresses a personal emotion, be it a  from the popular "High School Musical" Disney Dis·ney   , Walter Elias Known as "Walt." 1901-1966.

The "High School Musical" television movie, originally released in January 2006, is an Emmy award-winning film produced by the Disney Network. It has spawned a sequel - "High School Musical II" - and another film is in the works. In addition, there are toys, games and even an ice show. So is it any wonder that our very own BBRAVO (Berlin-Boylston Regional Acting & Voice Organization) program would want to undertake a production of the show?

But what exactly is it about "High School Musical" that reaches the youth of America so effectively?

Tahanto Regional Middle/High School students Jade Curley and Vinny Bonina, who play the lead roles of Gabriella and Troy, agree that they love the show. The two have been participating in the BBRAVO program since its creation last year and are also active choral cho·ral

. Other cliques in the cast include thespians and "skaters."

With lots of song and dance, "High School Musical" explores common high school themes, from peer pressure to finding your own voice and making lasting friendships.

Other members of the production also had positive opinions of the original show. Many stated they had always loved the movie and had wanted to participate in its production since it first came out - a typical case of Disney Magic no doubt. In fact, this year BBRAVO has about 60 kids in the cast, which is almost 20 more than last year.

Avi Wolf, the Tahanto choral and music teacher, said that it was extremely important to bridge the artistic talent and capabilities of students in all three community schools - Tahanto and the elementary schools elementary school: see school.  in Boylston and Berlin. Furthermore, not only do the students put enormous amounts of time and effort into the show, but the parental community has been working together to make the production a success.

In the end, we are indeed "all in this together".
