BBN names new corporate controller; Board elects CIO corporate officer, names general counsel senior VP.CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 1995--BBN Corporation today announced that Paul F. Brauneis has been appointed vice president and corporate controller. Brauneis, former chief financial officer at Spinnaker Software Corp., brings more than 20 years of high-level finance and accounting experience to BBN (BBN Technologies, Cambridge, MA, www.bbn.com) A consulting firm that participated in the development of some of the most extensive networks in the world, including ARPANET, which evolved into the Internet. It was founded in 1948 as a consulting service in acoustics by Dr. . Prior to working at Spinnaker, he served as vice president of finance and corporate controller at M/A COM Inc. Brauneis was senior audit manager at Price Waterhouse and he graduated from Boston College with a bachelor of science Noun 1. BBN General Counsel John Montjoy was elected a BBN senior vice president. Montjoy joined BBN as General Counsel in 1984 and has been vice president since 1988. Prior to BBN, Montjoy was a corporate attorney at Signal Corp., Cincinnati Milacron and Schlumberger. He is a graduate of the Tulane University Law School Tulane University Law School, established in 1847, is the 12th oldest law school in the United States.
