BBN Technologies Appoints Dr. Anita K. Jones to Board of Directors.


CAMBRIDGE, Mass. and ARLINGTON, Va. -- BBN Technologies, a leading provider of advanced technology and research and development, announced today that Dr. Anita K. Jones, the Lawrence R. Quarles Professor of Engineering & Applied Science, and Professor of Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Science School of Engineering and Applied Science is the name of several engineering schools at universities in the United States.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , David Fialkow and Ken Novack, managing director and advisory board member of General Catalyst Partners, respectively, and Jim Breyer and Kevin Efrusy of Accel Partners.

Among Dr. Jones' many career highlights are the following:
