MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1997--Sanchez Computer Associates, Inc., (NASDAQ: SCAI) today announced an agreement to provide PROFILE/Anyware banking systems to BBMB Kewangan Berhad (BBMBKB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad, making this the first PROFILE/Anyware client in Asia.

BBMBKB and Sanchez have already launched the initial implementation phase of the PROFILE/Anyware Integrated Banking System and the PROFILE/Anyware Financial Management System as part of an accelerated IT modernization project at BBMBKB, a 40-branch, 1,000-employee financial institution devoted to consumer financial services.

Digital Equipment Corporation is supplying computer hardware for the project, which is being program-managed by Ernst & Young.
