A ballroom is a large room inside a building, the designated purpose of which is holding formal dances called balls. , health club and spa. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2007. BBGM's design inspiration for the hotel is twofold: the original Shangri-la, a peaceful paradise removed from the stress of the modern world, as evoked e·voke tr.v. e·voked, e·vok·ing, e·vokes 1. To summon or call forth: actions that evoked our mistrust. 2. in the classic novel Lost Horizons, and China--its history, philosophies, nature and culture.
