Russell Baze Russell Baze (born August 7, 1958 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is the second-most winningest jockey in the history of Thoroughbred horse racing and a member of the United States Racing Hall of Fame.  rode four consecutive winners Wednesday at Bay Meadows racetrack Bay Meadows is a horse racing track in San Mateo, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States. Swiss Current wins feature: Swiss Current rallied from last place to beat Boracay Chic by a half-length in the $43,000 feature race at Hollywood Park.

Swiss Current, ridden by Garrett Gomez, covered seven furlongs in 1:25.07 and paid $4.20, $2.60 and $2.40.
