Tickets, offered a match ticket for the Ibrox leg of the tie on October 22 for pounds 200 plus tax and pounds 185 for the Old Trafford game two weeks later. Pall Mall said the tickets for the clash between the Scottish and English champions cost as much as pounds 75 more than other games featuring Man United in the Group One stages of the tournament. The Pall Mall worker added that the Celtic versus Bayern Munich game at Parkhead would also cost pounds 200. When asked why it was so expensive he replied: "It's quite a big game." An English Premiership source said: "This is unfortunately a fact of life in football these days. "These touts have their sources and sell them on at vastly inflated prices. "No club has authorised agencies to sell tickets for pounds 200." Rangers insisted the club had not done business with either agency and said the tickets were only available from the club.
