BATTERY ONE-STOP CHARGES ON

 TORONTO, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Battery One-Stop Inc. (NASDAQ: BATTF.P),a specialty retailer of batteries and battery-related products,operating over 70 locations throughout North America, announces today that it has resumed its US expansion plan.
 By the end of Jan. 31, 1994, BATTERY ONE-STOP will have added seven new US locations, adding annual revenues of over $2 million,but keeping expansion to a minimum this quarter so that management can concentrate on the US Thanksgiving and the upcoming Christmas seasons. New locations include Cleveland's Tower City Center, Philadelphia's Gallery At Market, Rochester's Midtown Plaza. Future locations include Washington D.C.'s National Place and Union Station, Brooklyn NY's Kings Plaza. BATTERY ONE-STOP is also negotiating several new airport locations. BATTERY ONE-STOP intends to secure about 100 prime locations by the end of its current fiscal year, April 30, 1994.
 The recent $1 million injection into the US operation, was used to purchase sufficient merchandise and increase new trade credit, to enable the whole US chain to be optimally inventoried in time for this peak selling season.
 Also, three new directors will strengthen BATTERY ONE-STOP'S Board of Directors. Paul Bronson brings hands-on small business experience. Edward Geric, CA has been BATTERY ONE-STOP's Vice President, Finance over the past four years. Hubert Marleau is Chairman of Marleau, Lemire Securities Inc. and in addition to his significant financial expertise is also well respected in North America for his entrepreneurial sagacity.
