BATESOLE GETS 4-YEAR CONTRACT.Byline: Chris Branam Staff Writer Mike Batesole, who endured the temporary cancellation of the Cal State Northridge baseball program two years ago, agreed to a four-year contract Thursday. Batesole will be paid $81,600 per year, up from the $69,000 he made under his old contract, which expired ex·pire v. ex·pired, ex·pir·ing, ex·pires v.intr. 1. June 30. ``The (contract duration) was extremely important to me,'' Batesole said. ``We started rebuilding this thing in the right way. I want to see this (freshman) class all the way through.''
