BAT's Subsidiary Electrobike Signs Agreement For National Product Placement Campaign.

CHULA VISTA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 1999--

BAT International's (OTC:BAAT) (www.baat.com) subsidiary, Electrobike (www.electrobike.com) signed an agreement with Exposure Unlimited, a firm specializing in placement of commercial products on TV and in other media. Exposure Unlimited's promotional advertising program is designed to amplify brand and company awareness and acceptance by placing products such as Electrobike on national TV, game, sport, talk and variety shows. Exposure Unlimited will facilitate a promotional campaign on behalf of Electrobike, which will increase Electrobike's brand awareness via national television shows that will reach millions of viewers per program. During each program, Electrobike will be featured in a 7-10 second audio and video segment. Narration by the program announcer will describe the electric bicycle as a part of a contestant award package. In some programs, Electrobike will be demonstrated live on stage.

The contract specifies product placement in at least four programs including "The Price is Right," "Wheel of Fortune," "Jeopardy" and "Hollywood Squares." Additional program placement opportunities will be defined based on negotiations with other game, sport, talk and variety shows. There is a 2-3 week lead time between taping of the show and the airing date. This will allow Electrobike to notify interested parties about specific dates and times of shows.

As a reminder, Electrobike will be prominently featured as part of a holiday gift giving segment on "The Donny & Marie Show" airing on Fox Television today (Thursday December 9, 1999).
