Jered Weaver Jered David Weaver (born October 4, 1982 in Northridge, California), is a Major League Baseball starting pitcher with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Maurice Neal scored 22 points and Walter Burch and Donte Witherspoon each added 11 points for Canoga Park (14-11, 7-3).

--Nordhoff 59, Calabasas 51: The Rangers (13-10, 5-4) overcame 18 points from the Coyotes' Adam Malatesta to win the Frontier League The Frontier League, based in Troy, Illinois, is a professional, independent baseball organization located in the Midwestern United States and Western Pennsylvania. Temma Healey and Deja Cruz scored 18 and 16 points, respectively, and Michelle Hairston had 12 rebounds for Grant (17-8, 9-1).

--North Hollywood 70, Hollywood 37: Richelle Sherman, who scored a game-high 31 points, nearly outscored the entire visiting Sheiks team in the Huskies (16-9, 9-1) Sunset 6 League victory.

--Taft 60, El Camino Real 42: In a battle of Woodland Hills schools, Christina Aguinaga scored 21 points to lead the visiting Toreadors over the Conquistadores and seal the West Valley League title.

Schquay Brignac scored 14 points and added seven rebounds for Taft (20-1, 9-1). Karen Shun scored 22 points for the Conquistadores (14-7, 7-3.).
