CalHiSports.com recently updated its boys' basketball record books to make room for the feats of several local players who set records last season.

Campbell Hall Campbell Hall can refer to:
  • a residence hall at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)
  • Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California
High of North Hollywood's 32-0 mark in the 2004-05 season is the best single-season record in state history. The school won the Southern Section Div. IVAA IVAA International Virtual Assistants Association  and state Div. IV titles.

Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  High's Caise Burris set the state record for most 3-pointers in a single season during 2004-05, while Canoga Park High's Aaron Aaron (âr`ən), in the Bible, the brother of Moses and his spokesman in Egypt, and the first high priest of the Hebrews. He is presented as the instrument of God in performing many signs, such as the turning of his rod into a serpent and  Perry hit the most 3-pointers in a single game.

Burris, a 6-foot-2 guard, hit 117 3-pointers in 30 games last season - an average of nearly four per contest - and shot 36 percent from behind the arc.

Perry hit 13 3-pointers en route to a game-high 51 points in Canoga Park's 95-80 loss to Dorsey on Dec. 13, 2004. He hit five or more 3-pointers in eight games and averaged more than 22 points per game in his senior season.

--New samplings: Bob DaCorsi's Oak Park High girls' basketball team graduated three post players from last year' Tri-Valley League champs, but help is on the way. Six-footer Cassandra Lee, who recently moved to the area from Sweden, has averaged about 10 points per game during Oak Park's summer play.

``She's raw, but she's got a lot of talent,'' said DaCorsi said.

There is a 50-50 chance Lee will be eligible to join the team for the regular season, he said.

Lee wouldn't be the only new player in Oak Park's lineup A criminal investigation technique in which the police arrange a number of individuals in a row before a witness to a crime and ask the witness to identify which, if any, of the individuals committed the crime. .

Julie Shiebler had to sit out last season after transferring from Louisville of Woodland Hills, but will be eligible for this upcoming year. DaCorsi said the senior-to-be should be good for 12 to 15 points per game.

Shiebler will join junior-to-be Amanda Ruland, a Daily News All-Area honorable mention last season as a sophomore. Ruland averaged 17.1 points per game last season.

Oak Park went 23-3 during the summer, including wins over larger schools like Valencia and Saugus.
