BASKETBALL : VALLEY TRIO MAKE ALL-CITY HARPER AVERAGED 27.3 POINTS.

Three area players were among the 16 selected for the All-City Section 4-A basketball team.

Cleveland's Donald Holt, Canoga Park's Carloes Harper and Kennedy's Michael Calloway all made the 4-A team. They each led their teams to the playoffs with Kennedy and Cleveland advancing to the second round.

Harper, headed for Cal State Northridge, led the Hunters in scoring with a 27.3 average. Harper was a three-year starter and 3-A Player of the Year in 1996.

Holt averaged 21 points in his third year as a starter for the Cavaliers. Calloway (19 points) led his team to a West Valley League co-championship.

Crenshaw's Kevin Bradley Kevin Bradley (born 18 June 1986 in Glasgow) is a Scottish football midfielder currently playing for Clyde. Bradley is a product of Clyde's youth system.

Bradley signed a professional contract with Clyde in the summer of 2003, though had to wait till the following season for
, who led the Cougars to an eighth Division I state title, was named Player of the Year.

Five area players were named to the 3-A team, including Eagle Rock's high-scoring guard Mark Caguioa
    Mark Anthony Caguioa (born on November 19, 1979 in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines) is a Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
    , who led the Eagles with a 26-point scoring average.

    Birmingham's Raymond Kizzee (14.6), Sylmar's Daron Wilson (17.1), Poly's Ellis Richardson (18.3) and El Camino Real's Elan Buller (23) also were selected to the team.

    Wilson led Sylmar to its most successful season in school history and the 3-A semifinals while Kizzee helped Birmingham also reach the semifinals.

    Sam Espinosa of 3-A champion Bell was selected Player of the Year.

    No. 1 in California:Harvard-Westlake High School's boys' basketball team has finished No. 1 in California in the final ratings by Cal-Hi Sports. The Wolverines were 36-1 and beat out Dominguez, Crenshaw cren·shaw   also cran·shaw

    Going to Colorado Springs:Harvard-Westlake's Jason and Jarron Collins will be playing in the McDonald's All-Star game on Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo. The game will be televised live by CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast. .
