BASF, Evans City, PA, has appointed Uwe Liebelt as the head of the company's Inorganics business group in North America. He succeeds Uli Bueschges, who has returned to BASF's German headquarters to run the Inorganic Specialties business. Mr. Liebelt began his career with BASF in 1996. His most recent position was director of controlling and strategy for BASF's Functional Polymers global operating division.
